The Metals:
Gold fell $9 to $1305.90 in Asia, but it then climbed to as high as $1325.80 in New York and ended with a gain of 0.53%. Silver rose to as high as $17.271 and ended with a gain of 0.35%.
Euro gold rose to about EUR1096, platinum gained $9.50 to $962, and copper climbed a penny to about $3.25.
Gold and silver equities waffled near unchanged and ended slightly higher.

The Markets:
Oil continued higher on concerns about Iran.
The U.S. dollar index fell and treasuries traded mixed as the Dow, Nasdaq, and S&P climbed to new highs on optimism about the global economy.
Among the big names making news in the market today were JPMorgan, Goldman Sachs, Walgreens, Monsanto, Intel, and Tesla.
