(Kitco News) - Gold andsilver prices have extended modest early losses and are trading attheir daily lows in late-morning action Wednesday. The metals started to movelower when the U.S. dollar index pushed above unchanged. The USDX is presentlytrading near its daily high. The strong daily inverse trading relationshipbetween the metals and the U.S. dollar index continues. Aprilgold was lastdown $6.10 at $1,329.10. May silver was last down 25 cents at $16.535.
