(by Half Dollar) The Federal government's official inflation report has just been released for the month of September, 2022.

According to the BLS, in September:

Prices are up 0.4% from last month.Prices are up 8.2% over the last 12 months.

The BLS says, "shelter, food, and medical care indexes were the largest of many contributors".
