The assays are from a 60-hole program of primarily short holes, spanning a total of 4,356 metres. The drilling tested three new artisanal zones, Baroya, Baroya North and Yatia West, as well as the area beneath a large artisanal open-pit on the Segala West trend. The best hit occurred at Baroya NW, just west of Baroya North, but the company also made new finds at Yatia NW, with assays of 7.13 and 7.16 grams of gold per tonne in two separate zones, each spanning one metre. Desert Gold also hit 0.88 gram per tonne across eight metres at Baroya North.
