Golden Predator shares first bulk sample results

Vancouver-based Golden Predator took a 9,800-tonne bulk sample from the Spades zone at its 3 Aces exploration project late last year, and the company is ready to share the results.

Results are available for only the first 6% of the sample. Two concentrates were produced from a gravity circuit. One yielded a 13,261.5-gram dor?(C) bar that contained 365 oz. of gold and 34 oz. of silver. Sale of the gold and silver provided the company with US$471,386. The second concentrate sample - weighing 658.1 kg - remains in inventory for later processing.

The concentrates were made in a small, closed circuit pilot processing plant with a gravity circuit at the project site. It operates at about 50 t/d.

Golden Predator chairman William Sheriff said the sampling program is part of de-risking the 3 Aces project. "Drilling very high grade material such as what we see in the Spades zone is likely to result in true grades being understated and we expect this bulk sample to demonstrate this point once we have reconciled the sample to the drilling," he added.

The overall grade for the bulk sample is estimated to be 20 g/t gold. No resource estimate has yet been made for the 3 Aces project.

Details of the 3 Aces gold project are posted at www.GoldenPredator.com.
