GULF FLAT STEEL IMPORTS: Prices mostly stable, HRC booked from India

Flat steel import prices were mostly unchanged, with hot-rolled coil (HRC) bookings made from India to the United Arab Emirates and Saudi Arabia during the week, sources told Fastmarkets on Tuesday February 23.

Despite prices remaining mostly stable, market participants expect price increases because of the recent rises in global markets.
Fastmarkets' weekly price assessment for steel HRC, export, fob Black Sea, CIS was $705-725 per tonne on February 22, up from $690-705 per tonne a week earlier.
