GULF STEEL BILLET, REBAR: Rebar prices fall, demand improves slightly

Rebar prices in the United Arab Emirates fell in the week to Tuesday April 6, despite improving demand, sources told Fastmarkets.

The Islamic holy month of Ramadan will soon start and demand is unlikely to improve further because of reduced working hours in the country.
Rebar producers in the UAE rolled over their prices in effect from March 22.

The country's steel producers are officially offering rebar at 2,530-2,545 dirhams ($689-693)...
