If one knows NATO's record of rejecting serious negotiations over President Putin's security concerns for more than a decade-and-a-half before the launching of the Special Military Operation in Ukraine, then it is obvious that the policy makers in the TransAtlantic world intend the present war to continue indefinitely, despite the risks. It is also obvious that there is no solution short of adopting a different philosophy of statecraft, to govern relations between sovereign nation states.
