No paper currency is going to survive the coming crisis, says Head of Research at GoldMoney Alasdair MacLeod. "This crisis is going to be so bad, that unless the authorities move their currencies into some form of credible gold backing, these currencies are not going to exist beyond the crisis." When confidence in currencies starts to slide, gold and silver "will rocket in price," he says.
