The junior mining space is experiencing a cash crunch, but this won't stop investors from returning to precious and base metals should miners wide the wave of industrialization, this according to Karr McCurdy, partner at Rock Elm Capital.
"I think investors will look at alternative asset classes if they're frustrated with lackluster returns, in some of the traditional sectors but I believe that the industrialization and urbanization of the large, developing economies is producing the demand [for metals] so that will always bring people back to the table," McCurdy told Kitco News on the sidelines of the 121 Mining Investment Conference in New York.
