A technology company promises to transform the way investors visit a mining site, by accessing it virtually.
Stephen de Jong, CEO and co-founder of VRify, said that based on his prior experiences working for a mining company, he discovered that giving virtual tours of mine sites was more efficient than traditional investor presentations, and that's what his company, VRify, aims to do.
"One of the things that we did at Integra Gold is that we created these virtual tours of sites, because we didn't feel that your traditional corporate deck was really sufficient to communicate the value proposition of your company," de Jong told Kitco News on the sidelines of the Mines & Money Conference in Toronto.
