Ans Anthonis, HRD Antwerp Chief Officer Diamond Lab & Research, will be presenting the impact of laboratory grown diamonds (LGDs) on the current market during a panel discussion to be held during the GemGeneve trade fair, on Thursday 9 May 2019, at 18:00. GemGeneve is held May 9 to 12, 2019. The lab will also host a daily workshop to teach show visitors more about HRD's latest range of equipment that helps identify LGDs.

The M-SCREEN 4.0 is a screening device for large quantities of melee diamonds. It can process three diamonds per second, and HRD claims its "referral rate" is five times lower than with the previous model, the M-SCREEN+.

J-SCREEN is a screening device for both loose and mounted diamonds of all sizes, while D-TECT is the machine that will can detect the identity of both loose and mounted diamonds of all sizes. It also will bring resolution regarding stones referred by the M-SCREEN 4.0, J-SCREEN or any other screening device.
