IDEX Price Report for 1 July: Rounds and Fancies on the Rise

(IDEX Online) - There was a slight overall increase in prices among both rounds and fancies. Many sizes saw little movement, but there were isolated clusters of activity.

Rounds

Overall prices rose through June. There was minimal movement in many categories, but localized bursts of activity.  Among 0.70-0.79-cts goods there was a concentration of price drops among D-E, of VS2 and better clarity.  One carats (1.00-1.0-1.24-cts) were quiet.

0.18-0.22 ct. F-I / IF-VVS2 +4.5-6%

0.50-0.69 ct. F-I / VS1-2 -1.5-4%, E / SI2-I1 +2-3%

1.00-1.24 ct. F / IF-VVS1 -3-3.5%
