By John Jeffay / May 01, 2022 / www.idexonline.com / Article Link

(IDEX Online) - Prices slowed during April. Fancies fell sharply, rounds were more mixed.

Rounds

A more mixed picture than of late, ending months of near-blanket price rises. Goods over 3.0-ct still saw a raft of increases, albeit with some decreases, especially among 5.0-cts. Price drops dominated in goods under 0.80-cts. Among 0.80-cts-2.99-cts there was much activity and a near-even mix of prices rises and drops, with 1.00-1.24-cts dominated by price drops. 0.50cts-0.69cts goods saw drops among I+ and SI+.  0.70-cts-0.79-cts were more down than up.  0.80-cts-0.89-cts were evenly split, with rises among H+ and VS1+.  0.90-cts-0.99-cts saw little movement. 1.25-cts-2.99-cts were evenly mixed.
