(IDEX Online) - Some 38 Indian gem and jewelry exporters participated in the JCK Show Las Vegas in the India Pavilion organized by the Gem & Jewellery Export Promotion Council (GJEPC). It is the 15th consecutive year that the trade body has organized an India Pavilion.
GJEPC Chairman Pramod Agrawal, said, "The USA is an important market for the Indian gem and jewelry industry. India's gem and jewelry exports to the USA were $8.92 billion during 2017. Around 16% of the gem and jewelry requirements of the USA are imported from India.
"JCK Las Vegas is a significant platform for India to further strengthen its network and improve its exports to the USA. It is also an opportunity for Indian exporters to understand the trends in the market which helps them to come back every year with a wide variety of products for buyers.
