India's Tata Steel hits peak 10.95 mln tpy production in year ended March 2018

India's Tata Steel hit a peak hot-metal output of 10.95 million tonnes in the financial year ending March 2018 at its blast furnaces in Jamshedpur, compared with 10.83 million tonnes a year ago.

It also achieved its best ever saleable steel production of 9.78 million tonnes in the financial year ending March 2018, compared to 9.7 million tonnes in the same period last year, the company said last week. Tata Steel estimates it produced a provisional 3.02 million tonnes of hot metal in the last quarter...
