(IDEX Online) - Indian diamond and jewelry manufacturers are to take part in a new trade event in Brazil aimed at strengthening ties between the two countries. The inaugural two-day BSM (Buyer Seller Meeting) Brasil 2023, takes place in Sao Paulo in August.Among the exhibitors from India are UniDesign Jewellery, Hari Krishna Exports, Dharmanandan Diamonds, AuroStar Diamonds, Jewel Art by AsianStar Group, Sandeep Diamond Corp, Venus Jewel and SDC Designs.Brazilian retailers and wholesalers will sign up for pre-scheduled meetings with sellers at the event, supported by the Embassy of India in Brazil.Organizer Ali Pastorini said: "I believe it is the right time for several reasons, it is a door to my country, to Latin America, to place a region that is still not well positioned in our sector, it is to bring quality people and companies to do business and strengthen more a hub in our industry, it's a win-win situation to everybody."Brazil is among the world's largest producers and exporters of colored gemstones, and diamond and jewelry sales are increasing.Pic shows the Sao Paulo skyline
