The main focus of next week's economic calendar will probably be Tuesday's release of the consumer price index (CPI), with the inflation gauge likely sparking speculation about the Fed's next move. On the earnings side of things, Adobe's (ADBE) and Broadcom's (AVGO) releases late in the week could generate the most headlines.

For Monday, March 11, investors will be met with retail sales and business inventories. Reporting earnings will be PetIQ (PETQ) and Stitch Fix (SFIX).

On Tuesday, March 12, the closely followed CPI will be unveiled. The earnings calendar features Dick's Sporting Goods (DKS), Momo (MOMO), Overstock.com (OSTK), and Switch (SWCH).

Traders will take in durable goods orders, the producer price index (PPI), construction spending, and domestic crude inventories on Wednesday, March 13. Express (EXPR) and Tailored Brands (TLRD) will report earnings.
