INK Ultra Money: It's a party like 1999

It is a play that has big potential but will need a combination of mine-finding skill and luck to pay-off. All the Fed money printing in the world will not alter the ultimate move. However, anything is possible between now and when drilling starts in July.

Last Wednesday, in our US market commentary for INK subscribers we made the case for the G-economy that is characterized by government-led inflation. We also listed the top 10 INK Edge ranked American stocks that are geared towards the G-economy. Tomorrow, we will make the case for the D-economy which is dominated by debt overhang and deflation. We will list the top INK Edge ranked D-economy stocks.

The G-economy narrative has had a good run as stocks have been flying on the back of Fed and government stimulus. I think we are close to seeing the D-economy counter-narrative re-emerge at least for short while as there is growing capitulation and despondency among the D-economy camp. Monday's Real Vision Daily Briefing is a good example.

That said, there is no telling how long the current market steam could keep going and we cannot rule out that we are in a period of asset price hyper inflation. If that is the case, a D-economy is likely to follow with a vengeance.
