Iranian steel billet, slab export prices rise after recent sales

Iranian export prices for steel billet and slab climbed in the week to Wednesday July 29 with customers accepting increases in a recent round of sales.

Fastmarkets' weekly price assessment for steel billet, export, fob ports Iran, was $388-392 per tonne on July 29, against $380-385 per tonne a week earlier.
Chadormaly Mining & Industrial was reported to have sold a 30,000-tonne cargo of billet in a tender finalized early this week. The material was scheduled for delivery in late August or early September, Fastmarkets has learnt.
