The Israel Diamond Exchange (IDE) haslaunched an international awareness campaign, highlighting the unique featuresof natural diamonds.The bourse will promote its "I lovenatural diamonds" campaign - which it says is the first internationalinitiative by a global diamond center to differentiate real diamonds fromsynthetics - over social media. It will feature several short videos, releasedover a number of weeks, starting with a piece entitled "Fake Times. RealDiamonds."The project was first announced at theWorld Federation of Diamond Bourses (WFDB) executive committee meeting, held inIsrael last week. "At a timewhen counterfeit products and fake reproductions flood almost every market, fewcommodities remain as rare and exceptional as natural diamonds," said IDE president Yoram Dvash, who hostedthe WFDB meeting."In this campaign we want to highlightthe exceptional qualities of natural diamonds, as symbols of love andtimelessness over the generations and throughout the world," he added.
