And according to the BLS, in the US, in November:
Total employment rose by 263,000Unemployment rate was unchanged at 3.7%Average hourly earnings rose by $0.18 per hourIt should be noted that in addition to the unchanged unemployment "rate", the 263,000 "jobs" created in November comes after October's "sweet super-duper extra-awesome" 261,000.
It should also be noted that "average hourly earnings" is a nothingburger because are they really going to print something other than a gain in pay between $0.05 to $0.25, much less print a decline in wages?
All things considered, it seems like the Bureau of Lying Sadists Labor Statistics, or the Feds, or the Fed, or someone, or some thing, just wants to enjoy the holidays this year, and therefore, we've got the time-tested grade school strategy of the "do-over".
