Japan Jeweler Debuts Ginza Store and Brand

RAPAPORT... The Uchihara Group will open a store in Ginza, Japan, and launch a new brand of jewelry at more affordable pricesthan its signature SA Birth collection. The new line - SA Birth Ginza -is a reinvented version of the original brand, which is sourced from southernAfrican countries, including Botswana, South Africa and Lesotho, the companysaid Monday. Uchihara will launch the label when it opens its store inJapan's most sought-after shopping destination for Asian tourists, it added. The three-floor location will focus on the concept of the universe,and will feature a bridal collection as well as high-end diamond and jewelrycollections that are more design-oriented, fashionable and affordable, Uchiharanoted.
