RAPAPORT... The organizers of the JCK Las Vegas and Luxury jewelry shows have delayed the fairs due to growing concerns over the coronavirus."Our top priority is the health and safety of our exhibitors, attendees, industry partners and staff," JCK said Tuesday. "After consulting with national experts [and] our customers, closely monitoring developments and reviewing guidance and advice...we have decided it is in the best interest of all our JCK community to postpone the show."The group has not yet set a new date for the events, as it is still working out the details, but intends to share the new timing shortly, it said. The main JCK Las Vegas trade fair was previously due to run from June 2 to 5, while the Luxury show was scheduled for May 31 to June 5."We look forward to bringing the industry together again and creating a memorable event later in the year, when it is safe to do so," it noted. "We are all in this together."The rescheduling came just after Nevada Governor Steve Sisolak announced a 30-day closure of all non-essential businesses in the state on Tuesday in an effort to stem the spread of COVID-19.Image: The JCK Las Vegas 2019 show.
