(IDEX Online) - British jeweler David Morris is breaking the mold by launching a high-end collection online, rather than through a virtual presentation at the Paris haute couture week. It's partnering with Farfetch, the British-Portuguese luxury fashion retail platform to give buyers their first glimpse of its Renaissance range.Among the high-value one-off pieces on offer are the Monsoon Necklace, a white diamond necklace and earrings set, with over 55 carats of scintillating rose cut, cushion, pear-shape, round and oval white gems; the Rubia Choker necklace, with over 380 carats of deep-red Burmese rubies, and a statement cocktail ring featuring blue lapis, white diamonds and a rare 10-carat Australian black opal. It's the first time a jeweler is launching and selling a high jewelry collection on an e-commerce platform, according to the fashion bible WWD.Farfetch has been selling fine jewelry since 2018, with Chopard, De Beers, Tag Heuer and others.Pic shows the Rubia Choker necklace
