(IDEX Online) - Insurance firm Jewelers Mutual Group is making its online safety and security learning platform freely available to non-policy holders during the coronavirus crisis.
More than 1,000 client businesses already use its JM University for annual training and new hire orientation. It is now being made available to the entire industry.
JM University comprises 10 structured courses, which include Selling with Security - how to prevent theft and stay safe during a robbery, Danger on the Road, for traveling salespeople, and Loss Prevention Self Audit, identifying and correcting weak points in a business's security.
"Jewelers are still at high risk even though their operations are temporarily shut down or changed," said Larry Spicer, Jewelers Mutual vice president of loss prevention and risk management services. "This is a great opportunity to brush up on best practices."
