Kunming Diamonds Hires New Marketing Head

RAPAPORT... Hong Kong-based colored-diamond specialist Kunming Diamonds has recruited Rahul Jauhari as its director of sales and marketing, the company said Thursday.Jauhari was previously senior vice president for global sales and marketing at Indian diamond manufacturer Star Rays. Before that, he served as HRD Antwerp's commercial director for India.Kunming, founded in the 1980s, is an authorized partner of Rio Tinto's Argyle Pink Diamonds business, which markets goods from the iconic Australian mine. The company was a frequent buyer at the annual Argyle Pink Diamonds Tenders, and made a large purchase at a special October 2021 sale of blue and violet diamonds from Argyle."Natural fancy-colored diamonds are truly the epitome of luxury - the ultimate indulgence one can possess," commented Jauhari, who started in the new role on July 1.
