The latest highlights included 13m at 9.7g/t Au, which contained the headline intersection; 2m at 12.4g/t Au from 3m depth - also at Lena; and 2m at 10.3g/t from the Break of Day prospect.

Musgrave has released a string of high-grade intercepts in recent months, sending its share price towards A$0.10 (US$0.07/share) in April, and it expects to complete a new resource estimate in July.

Lena's existing resource comprises 1.27 million tonnes at 1.86g/t Au for 76,000 ounces and Musgrave said the near-surface intersections highlighted the openpit potential and possibility of enhancing any future development at Break of Day.

Musgrave's shares on June 6 closed up 1.35% to $0.075.
