A significant new shareholder gave a financial vote of confidence to a lithium junior Friday. Here's some small stocks making big moves on Friday, April 6, 2018 (as of 4 pm EST):
Nemaska Lithium Inc. (TSX:NMX) shares moved 17% higher to $1.37 on Friday after the lithium junior announced that SoftBank Group Corp. will make a strategic investment in Nemaska by way of a private placement at a price of C$1.12 per share for total gross proceeds of up to C$99,075,000.

As well, shares of Torex Gold Resources Inc. (TSX:TXG) soared 51% to $11.57 as the gold miner said negotiations between community leaders have resulted in an end to the illegal blockades of the Company's ELG Mine Complex, supporting infrastructure, and the Media Luna Project, all of which are in southwest Mexico.
Ashanti Sankofa Inc. (TSXV:ASI), meanwhile, reported that it has entered into a Strategic Alliance Agreement with Blox, Inc., to collaborate to explore and develop natural resource properties in West Africa, as well as undertake joint research projects and to consider joint commercial exploitation of any new property or project that may be acquired resulting from their joint research. Ashanti Sankofa stock moved up 40% to $0.035 following the announcement.
