Comex copper prices fell to a multi-week low during morning trading on September 4 in the US, due to a stronger dollar and persistent fears that tariffs will spread globally.

Copper for December settlement on the Comex division of the New York Mercantile Exchange tumbled 7.55 cents or 2.8% to $2.5955 per lb.
