Comex copper prices were lower on the morning of Friday January 12, with volumes small ahead of the US holiday weekend.

Copper for March settlement on the Comex division of the New York Mercantile Exchange dipped by 0.45 cents or 0.1% to trade recently at $3.2285 per lb. The trading range so far has been between $3.2180 and $3.2490 per oz."Copper is comfortably consolidating," Metal Bulletin analyst James Moore...
