LIVE FUTURES REPORT 28/10: LME zinc price holds gains above $2,500/t amid high turnover

The zinc price rose in morning trading on the London Metal Exchange on Monday October 28, finding support above $2,500 per tonne, with the forward spreads remaining tight.

The three-month zinc price recently traded at $2,530 per tonne, with around 4,300 lots having changed hands by 9:50am London time. Also supportive was the cancellation of 2,125 tonnes across LME-registered warehouses in Asia and North America took total on-warrant zinc stocks down to just 33,000 tonnes - their lowest in more than a decade.The forward spreads in zinc remain tight, with the metal's...
