Mail on Sunday: New Gold Investors Jump 5-Fold

LONDON, 7 June 2020 - The dreadful Coronavirus Pandemic has spurred a jump in the number of people wanting to invest in gold, silver and platinum, reports today's Mail on Sunday - the UK's best-selling 'mid-market' newspaper - quoting data from BullionVault.

This surge comes "despite a tail-off in the price of all three metals in the past couple of weeks," says the paper's personal finance editor Jeff Prestridge, noting that over the last 12 months gold has now risen 28% for UK investors.
