Malaysia sets AD duties on galvanized steel from China, Vietnam

Malaysia has imposed anti-dumping duties ranging from 2.66-16.13% on hot-dipped galvanized steel coils (HDG) and sheets imported from China and Vietnam, its Ministry of International Trade and Industry (MITI) announced on Friday March 8.

The final affirmative duties will be effective for five years - from March 8, 2019 to March 7, 2024 - and should address unfair trade practices, the ministry stated.For exporters in China, the tariffs are levied as follows: Rizhao Baohua New Material: 3.75% Yieh Phui (China) Technomaterial: 3.76% Shandong Huijin Color Steel: 4.33%...
