Oil & gas commentator Malcolm Graham-Wood discusses what's been a great start for Echo Energy's Argentina workover programme.
The existing well, tagged CSo-85, perforated a previously untapped gas reservoir which flowed to surface without any further intervention. Gas flows from the reservoir are estimated at 2mln cubic feet per day.
Graham-Wood also talks SDX Energy and confirmation its latest well success, with the Ibn Yunus-1X well at the South Disouq project, unearthed a larger than expected gas reservoir.
Plus he offers a few words on Hurricane Energy following the release of its results on Wednesday suggesting all appears on track for first oil from the Early Production System (EPS) at Lancaster in 1H 2019.
