Peter Maniloff, assistant professor of economics and business at Colorado School of Mines, recently discussed the findings of a new report on the Regional Greenhouse Gas Initiative with Inside Climate News. The report, from economics consulting firm Analysis Group, found $1.4 billion in economic benefits across the nine member states and no harm to the reliability of the electric grid over the three-year study period.
