May China copper imports up 22% y-o-y, copper ore, concentrates up 37%

China imported 475,000 tonnes of unwrought copper and copper products in May, up 21.79% on a yearly basis from 390,000 tonnes last May, and reported a 3,300-tonne increase from April, according to preliminary data released by China Customs on Friday June 8.
