Metalloinvest to replace Ural Steel EAFs, increase pig iron consumption

Russia's Metalloinvest - a major global supplier of iron ore, pig iron and hot-briquetted iron (HBI) - will replace two existing electric-arc furnaces (EAFs) at its Ural Steel asset in 2019, the company said on Wednesday June 20.
