Toronto-based Metals Creek Resources is passing along the latest drill results from its Garrison gold project 35 km northwest of Kirkland Lake. The property has two distinct anomalies - the 1,000-metre long Southern anomaly that has historic drilling results and the 600-metre long Northern anomaly that has not been tested.

Two holes last year targeted the Southern anomaly. The first hole had no significant mineralization. The second returned 3.42 g/t gold over 0.5 metre and 4.87 g/t over 0.3 metre. Neither of the holes intersected the main high grade target.

Three holes, one of which had to be abandoned due to poor ground conditions, were drilled at the Northern anomaly. The other two holes intersected 1.57 g/t gold over 1.5 metres, 1.92 g/t over 2.8 metres, 0.56 g/t over 1.8 metres, 1.77 g/t over 0.55 metre, and 0.98 g/t over 2.0 metres. This anomaly is associated with a magnetic low and considered to be deeper than the Southern anomaly.

Metals Creek has an option to earn a 100% interest in the Garrison property that lies between projects owned by Osisko Metals and Kirkland Lake Gold.
