Ferrous scrap prices in Mexico largely declined in the week ended on Friday February 5, with buyers struggling to reduce their purchase prices.

Mexican steel producers attempted to secure price cuts in their purchases of the steelmaking raw material, of around 200-300 pesos ($10-15) per tonne, in both regions during the week.
