Michael Hill also saw strong sales for its new branded collection."I'm particularly pleased with our results given the challenging environment for our business - continuous store closures throughout the half [and a] significant decline in foot traffic in all markets," said Michael Hill CEO Daniel Bracken. "The digitization and elevation of our brand is clearly resonating with our customers, as are our key strategic initiatives."Same-store sales rose 11% in the first eight weeks of the second half, Bracken added. Image: A Michael Hill store in Australia.
