Mining Companies Threaten Legal Action Over DRC Mining Code -FT

--Eight mining companies are threatening legal action against the Congo government, claiming the country has ignored their concerns that its new mining code will raise royalties, the Financial Times reports.

--The FT said it has seen a letter to President Joseph Kabila signed by the companies, including Glencore PLC, AngloGold Ashanti, China Molybdenum and Randgold Resources.
