The world's supply of manganese ore decreased by 6% month-on-month in November 2018 due to production cuts in most global regions, according to the latest research published by the International Manganese Institute (IMnI) on Friday January 4.

Supply totaled 1.71 million tonnes of manganese units in October, which was an increase of 16.3% year-on-year, with global suppliers ramping up to feed manganese alloy smelters in China, the IMnI said.In the first 11 months of the year, world supply rose by 12.8%.
