New Find to Add Life to Gahcho Ku?(C)

RAPAPORT... A kimberlite discovered during new exploration at MountainProvince's Gahcho Ku?(C) mine will expand total production at the asset. Deposits located near the north pipe of the mine have the potential to increase output at Gahcho Ku?(C)by 2.2 million to 4.2 million carats, the company reported last week. "Our continued success in this near-mine exploration programis very encouraging," said Mountain Province CEO Stuart Brown. "Thesesignificant kimberlite discoveries are well within the present mine-plan area,and there is little doubt that, if economic, will contribute tonnage to extendthe miner life at Gahcho Ku?(C)." De Beers, Mountain Province's partner in Gahcho Ku?(C), willcomplete its exploration program shortly, and the results may be incorporatedinto a modified mine plan during fiscal 2019, Brown added.
