New Premier Jewelry Show Comes to Las Vegas

RAPAPORT... A new fine-jewelry show will launch in Las Vegas duringthe upcoming trade-fair season, the event's organizers said last week. Premier, which will feature jewelry manufacturers andbrands, emerging designers, and timepieces, will be located at the Las VegasConvention Center, alongside the Las Vegas Antique Jewelry and Watch Show, andthe AGTA GemFair Las Vegas. The show is scheduled to run from May 31 to June 4, overlapping with JCK Las Vegas. "The launch of Premier has been many years in the making,"said Drew Lawsky, show director of Emerald Expositions Jewelry Group, which is organizing the exhibition."This event will provide a home in Las Vegas to manufacturers and brands whoare seeking an alternative environment in which to exhibit during [trade-fair week]."
