Newlox says mining begins at the historic Boston gold mine in Costa Rica

(Kitco News) - Newlox Gold (CSE: LUX)announced Tuesday that its local mining partners have commenced operations atthe historic Boston gold mine in Costa Rica.

"The miners have startedactively mining at Boston to establish a stockpile of freshly sourced materialin anticipation of the completion of Newlox Gold's Boston processing plant,which will process feedstock newly extracted from the Boston mine by the company'slocal mining partners," the company said in a statement.

Newlox added it will operatethe new mill at Boston capable of processing 150 tonnes per day of materialgrading +- 15 grams per tonne gold with an anticipated gold recovery of 90%.All feedstock is to be provided by Newlox's mining partners, with profits to besplit evenly between the parties.

The joint project benefitsboth parties, the company noted, as Newlox will outsource all mining to itslocal partners while providing them with modern, environmentally sustainable,and effective mercury-free mineral processing.
