Newmont declares quarterly dividend of $0.55 per share

(Kitco News) - Newmont Corporation (NYSE:NEM, TSX: NGT) today announced that its Board of Directors declared a quarterlydividend of $0.55 per share of common stock, payable on December 28, 2021 toholders of record at the close of business on December 9, 2021.

The company noted that declarationand payment of future quarterly dividends remains at the discretion of theBoard of Directors and will depend on the company's financial results, cash flowand cash requirements, future prospects, and other factors deemed relevant bythe Board.

Newmont is the world'sleading gold company and a producer of copper, silver, zinc and lead. The company'sportfolio of assets is anchored in favorable mining jurisdictions in NorthAmerica, South America, Australia and Africa.

Newmont is the only goldproducer listed in the S&P 500 Index. Newmont was founded in 1921 and hasbeen publicly traded since 1925.
