Nouriel Roubini, CEO of Roubini Macro Associates, says calls for mild recession are "totally delusional" due to Federal Reserve policy tightening in the face of a slowing US economy. "We have no fiscal space. So the idea that this is going to be short and shallow, it's totally delusional," he says on "Bloomberg Surveillance."

Nouriel Roubini is the CEO at Roubini Macroassociates, a professor at NYU's Stern School of Business, and Chairman of Roubini Global Economics. He was Senior Economist for International Affairs in the White House's Council of Economic Advisers during the Clinton Administration. He has worked for the International Monetary Fund, the US Federal Reserve, and the World Bank.
