Capital markets have avoided the junior miners, but it's only a matter of time before this changes, said David Erfle of JuniorMiningJunky.com.
"They're waiting for this move [in gold] to be sustained above $1,400. If you see the gold price maintain a floor of $1,400 into the end of the year, that's two solid quarters of the gold price above $1,400, then they're going to loosen up [their capital]," Erfle told Kitco News on the sidelines of the Precious Metals Summit in Beaver Creek.
