One Month Chart (January 4, 2019)…

Gold and silver looking good, still, so far… Remember, in a “legit bull market” for precious metals, silver will lead gold…

This separation fits the description, but will need to widen considerably, with silver outperforming gold significantly, for a true bull market to be in play…

The gold-to-silver ratio will need to fall sharply as well, from current levels (80 and above is out of the stratosphere, which is bad if you’re a bull)…

Here’s what we want/need to see happen to the gold-to-silver ratio…

And silver miners will be on steroids…

Again, this is a decent start…

Encouraging, and in some ways reminiscent of early 2016, when the precious metals sector turned sharply in the up BRIGHT GREEN direction…

For comparison sake, here’s a one month chart (3 stawks ETFs and 3 precious metals ETFs…

For precious metals bulls, 2019 really couldn’t be getting off to a better start…

But like I said earlier, it’s still way too soon to know for certain if this rally is just another head fake, or not… It really doesn’t feel like we are gonna get smashed down to shit this time around, but for anyone who has ever invested in precious metals mining stocks, ya’ll know it’s a most humbling game and you can never be certain of anything (except guaranteed future annihilation of your wealth if you hold on for too long)…

In any case, gold, silver, and the precious metals mining stocks will be worth monitoring closely like a hawk in the near-term… As contrarians wait for that “go” signal…

Anyone who has been following this blog since 2015/2016, you know damn well how much fun a bull run in these miners can be! It’s indescribable what 3-5x gains in a span of a few months on your positions feels like…
